At SCOTT, we have some of the finest single tracks in the western Alps in our backyard. The Aosta Valley and especially the region between Aosta and Courmayeur, being just a stone’s throw away from SCOTT’s headquarters, has become one of our favorite playgrounds. It makes perfect sense that Aosta Valley Freeride has become one of our premium partners. The young company consists of a handful of passionate guides who bring customers closer to Aosta’s bike heaven and shows them the finest singletracks with unbelievable views to some of the greatest of all alpine summits, including the Mont Blanc. This video project was conceived with the idea of advertising the Aosta Valley Region, with its mountains, and the huge potential that the valley offers for mountain bikers thanks to the infinite number of trail networks. The Aosta Valley region has no limits to tours or shuttles. The project is meant to run for three years and will be airing one video edit per year, which will show three different spots in the valley: two resorts and one of the more unknown spots with its refuges and shelters. In this first edition the filmed spots are Pila, Courmayeur and the area surrounding Punta Chaligne, in the Grand Saint Bernard Valley.
