Swiss racer Nicola Rohrbach along with Austrian companion Daniel Geismayr emerged victorious in the fourth stage, considered the most challenging of the 2018 edition of the Cape Epic. They rise in fourth position in the overall. Kulhavy and Grotts defended their leadership in the overall standings by closing the stage in second place. Third position was claimed by Spanish racer Francesc Guerra Carretero and his Portuguese companion Luis Leao Pinto. The women’s field is still dominated by Annika Langvad and Kate Courtney who took their fifth consecutive victory between the prologue and the 4 stages.
