After four days of competition, Crankworx Innsbruck will end without the Best Trick Competition, tentatively planned for Sunday afternoon. Heavy rains and thunderstorms left one of the best Slopestyle courses the World Tour has seen too wet for riders to safely compete.
Some 18,500 people came through the festival over the course of the first four days, which featured:
A nail-biting Crankworx Innsbruck Slopestyle presented by Kenda in which American Nicholi Rogatkin beat Canadian Brett Rheeder with game changing, banger runs.
One of the tightest pump track matches Crankworx has seen, with Olympian Caroline Buchanan beating pump track veteran and fellow Olympian Jill Kintner on the Raiffeisen Club Pump Track Challenge presented by RockShox
Strong crowds for a dual speed & style competition expected to set the course for more cross-competition between trick-based athletes and racers, the Mons Royale Dual Speed & Style
In the downhill race, first place went to world champion Danny Hart and the winner of the Leogang World Cup, Tracey Hannah. The second and third places went respectively to Mick Hannah and Jack Moir for men, Jill Kintner and Emilie Siegenthaler for women.
