In Chapter 13 “Legend in the Making”, it is not N1NO Schurter who tells the story, but some of his most famous competitors like Julien Absalon, José Hermida and Manuel Fumic. How did N1NO make his way up to be one of the most successful mountain bike athletes? And what sets him apart from the others? What makes Mountain Bike racing so exciting these days? And what does it feel like to race at the most spectacular Mountain Bike event in MTB history, the 2016 UCI MTB World Championships in Nove Mesto with more than 25,000 spectators? Watch the movie and find out.
With 5 World Championship titles in the books, N1NO Schurter is not only one of the most successful mountain bikers of all time, but the 30 year old SCOTT icon has equalized Julien Absalon’s record with his triumph in Nove Mesto. In addition to that, only one week after his demonstration of power, N1NO managed to secure his 20th World Cup victory at Lenzerheide. More confident than ever, N1NO now heads into the last weeks of preparation for the Olympics. On August 21st, he will attempt to complete his Olympic medals collection, after winning the Bronze medal in Beijing in 2008, and Silver in London 2012.
