One of the most fascinating regions in terms of trekking is located between the Chinese province of Yunnan and Tibet: the Kawa Karpo mountain range. The Pilgrimage trail circumnavigates the Kawa Karpo, crosses forests, rushing rivers and passes over 4,500 meters above sea level.
