Muddy would be an understatement to describe the World Champs track in Leogang. Riders could only hold on for dear life and hope to get down the hill in one piece. Not only was it Noga Korem’s first World Champs, but it was the first time Israel had a female racer in the event and she made sure to make her country proud. Noga put it all on the line and cracked the top 10, landing herself in 8th place! It was also the first World Champs for Junior, Ethan Craik, who battled his way through the brutal conditions into 11th on the day. This was Wyn Masters’ 11th World Champs of his career and the toughest one yet. Wyn would hold on for 39th and happy to finish the day with no major issues. It was definitely a World Championships for the books!
