[Video] Tyler McCaul is REV’D

Rev’d Provision Co. announced today that mountain biker Tyler McCaul has joined the REV’D® mountain bike team. Residing in Aptos California, Tyler has cemented his legacy in mountain biking as a successful downhill, slalom and slopestyle rider, having earned top spots in each category. Also known as T-Mac, McCaul is enthusiastic about joining the REV’D® team. “I couldn’t happier to be joining the crew at REV’D®,” said McCaul. “They’re a very cool and supportive company that’s reinventing nutrition bars.”

Tyler’s early influence came from his father’s love of motorcycles. This influence brought Tyler to the track on weekends riding dirt bikes with his father and brother. Too young to drive, Tyler would have to wait until the weekend when his dad was available to go to the track again. With all the down days between weekends, Tyler picked up a mountain bike and never put it down. Soon, Tyler began racing downhill and slalom where he quickly made a name for himself. More recently, Tyler has turned his attention on the ever growing and exciting world of freeride and slopestyle competition, where Tyler has become an emerging star. Tyler took the FMB tour by storm in 2013 and ended the season ranked 8th overall in the FMB World Tour. This placed Tyler comfortably in the company of the world’s best slopestyle riders. Although out with an injury this season, in 2012 and 2013 Tyler took 5th place in the infamous and most challenging of all FMB events, the Red Bull Rampage.

“Tyler is a true original” Says REV’D® team manager Matt O’Connor. “Having a successful older sibling in the same sport often makes it challenging to carve out your own identity. But this challenge just made Tyler stronger. He’s an innovator. Tyler was the first rider to ever do a triple tail whip on a mountain bike,” Says O’Connor. “Guys like Tyler embody the “true original” personalities that we at REV’D® admire.”

REV’D® supports athletes that push the evolution of their sport and the limits of human athleticism. “Tyler is in an elite group of riders that will continue the progression of what is possible on a mountain bike. His hard work, cheerful smile and constant positive outlook are contagious.” Says O’Connor. This kind of attitude and positive lifestyle are what REV’D® is all about. REV’D® makes superfood bars that taste amazing and we celebrate the sports, music and art that fuel our passion for adventure and life. REV’D® nutrition bars are non-GMO and made with wholesome ingredients you can pronounce, like oats, dates, nuts, and superfoods like cocoa and organic Peruvian maca.
