Kamloops is arguably the birthplace of freeride mountain biking, and is still pushing what’s possible in modern trail building. It’s also my favourite place in the world to ride. High-speed singletrack and large cheese wedge jumps littered with scraggly trees and sage bushes are synonymous with Kamloops mountain bike culture. We filmed this video in Kamloops because the trails compliment my riding style; going fast, getting sideways, and doing tricks. Essentially, I like to ride my Glory downhill bike like I’m doing a slope style run, and if I can shred some DH terrain on the way down and take the shuttle back up, it doesn’t get any better for me.
