As we head into the winter in the Northern Hemisphere all the big resorts are closing for two wheels and getting ready for snow. After hearing about all the great times people had during Whistler’s last weekend, we looked back and dug up some pictures that slipped through the cracks from Crankworx.
Towards the end of our trip we got to take a couple runs with Scott rippers Nico Vink and Jenny Liljegren. Take a peek at some of the gems we napped as they got loose for our camera on our last couple runs on our last day at Whistler.
May as well start it off with your classic Whistler shot. Nico had a slightly different take on things.
Jenny used to spend her time on the SkiCross World Cup circuit. The crossover skills are fully apparent.
Watching Nico send this huge slick rock gap was pretty bonkers. It was hard to do it justice with a camera, but you can see it in this video around the 3:15 mark.
We’ll be missing the dark nooks and crannies of these woods.
After a few scrubs and tire taps it was a wrap…We can’t wait for Crankworx next year. Thanks for rallying with us Nico and Jenny!
