Wolf Tooth’s EnCase – A Multitool Stored In Your Bar

We’ve all got riding essentials that we can’t leave the house without. It’s usually a couple of tools to keep you riding, a tire plug, maybe a chain tool, and a set of quick links alongside your snacks. The EnCase System his exactly that—except for the snacks. And here’s the best part: all of those essential riding tools can now fit inside your handlebars.

The key to the EnCase System is the Storage Sleeve, which is a machined aluminum bar end plug and a firm rubber sleeve that’s just slender enough to live inside your bars, but thick enough for a snug fit. It’ll work with most standard mountain bars and most drop bars. The rubber material of the Storage Sleeve keeps the multi-tool clean and securely in place while riding. We even designed the Storage Sleeve for a bit of tailoring to be customized for your bars because no two handlebars are the same.

Two multi-tools are included in the EnCase System: a Hex Bit Wrench and a Chain + Tire Plug. The Hex Bit Wrench has 14 functions, including spoke wrench; valve core wrench; 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8mm hex; Phillips and flat-head; and T10, T25, and T30 Torx. The Chain + Tire Plug has a chain tool that is compatible with all chains on one end, and a tire plug inserter to fix tubeless punctures on the other. There’s even storage space inside the handle of the Chain + Tire Plug Multi-Tool to store bacon strip tire plugs. While we designed these multi-tools for the Storage Sleeves, they’ll do pretty well on your home workbench or tucked in a jersey pocket, too.
