World Cup DH Lousã Postponed Due to Coronavirus

In the wake of the prevention and containment measures due to the expansion of the coronavirus which is currently causing the cancellation of thousands of events across Europe, the UCI has decided to suspend and postpone the opening round of the DH World Cup 2020 which was supposed to be held in Lousã, Portugal on March 21 and 22.

The public present at the race would in fact exceed the limit of 1000 people for events and demonstrations imposed by many European nations, including Portugal, in order to limit the epidemic risk. The UCI will pass on a new date for the Lousã round as soon as possible.
