A parte un paio di episodi senza gravi conseguenze, la Rampage 2016 è andata piuttosto liscia rispetto alle scorse edizioni. Dopo una stagione dura che ha segnato la vita a Paul Basagoitia, oltre a qualche polemica relativa all’operato dei giudici, molti erano rimasti con l’amaro in bocca. Quest’anno RedBull ha portato alcuni cambiamenti decisivi, tutti ben accolti: hanno aumentato la sicurezza, hanno raccolto feedback dai rider, hanno aumentato i premi e hanno introdotto due nuovi giudici assolutamente rispettati da tutti i rider, Kyle Jameson e Nico Vink, entrambi ex partecipanti della Rampage. La finale è stata tesa e, come al solito, il vento l’ha fatta da padrone.
